The key to success is to Love what you do and do it with consistency. I started in the Mortgage Industry right out of high school 38 years ago (yes I am ancient…lol…but that also means I have a wealth of knowledge). During that time, I have worked in all sides of the business, from processing, to originations, with having spent the last 10 years on the Underwriting side, approving loans. I decided a better way to help customers, is to open a mortgage business that focuses on helping people with their paths to reach the American Dream of homeownership. I have been able to overcome many challenges that customers face when going through the approval process, and I love helping everyone involved. Here at Ogden Mortgage Group, you are considered family and are valued in every way. I am very involved in the success of our Team, and assist them in anyway to create positive outcomes for our customers. I also, am GiGi to 6 wonderful little munchkins that are the light of my life. I like riding 4wheelers too. I grew up in Central Florida on a farm raising my own animals. I now write Children’s Stories in the little bit of spare time I have, and am living the best life ever. When I started in the mortgage industry, I was fresh out of college and a single mom. I didn’t know anything about a mortgage, what it entailed and certainly didn’t know anything about the regulatory world of lending. With many ups and downs due to ever the ever-changing market there were times I did consider other industries with a bit more stability. But 32 years later, I’m still in the game. I’ve worn several hats beginning as a loan officer to opening my own successful mortgage company until 2007. After the crash, I went into underwriting for about 15
years and I’ve now come full circle back to originating loans. It’s been a journey for sure and I am still here simply because I love it. Educating people on the process of financing a home so they may make an
informed decision is fulfilling. From showing senior citizens how their home’s equity could allow them to experience some of their life long dreams while remaining in their homes to turning what appears to be a negative situation into a stress relieving positive
resolve is what I do. In my spare time I am a Pilates instructor and spend as much time as I can to help
animals, children and senior citizens. I just have a heart for the innocents and defenseless and if I can help, I help. As long as I make a positive impact in this world, that is truly all that matters at the end of the day.
